Conditions of Hire

Prior to your first booking in the Multi-Sensory Room, you will be required to watch an online induction session. This session will explain the safe use of each piece of sensory equipment and walk you through the policies and procedures at Sensory Lane.

Hirer must provide a certificate of currency of their Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance

Sensory Lane is not a licenced day-care facility.

The client/users must have their therapist, teacher, carer or a family member with them at all times.

Hoist users must provide their own hoist sling and have a competent, fully trained person with them to use the hoist.

No food or drink is to enter the Sensory Room. Socks must be worn at all times.

We are hoping for Sensory Lane to be NDIS Registered very soon. Talk to your NDIS planner about how our facility and services can be included in your Support Categories such as:

• Increased social and community participation
• Improved daily living skills
• Improved health and wellbeing
• Assistance with social and community participation
